The Naked Truth

Yesterday I read an article about how to have sex when you haven’t shaved your legs. And it pissed me off. So fuck it, if guys can get away with it and not have to worry I’m not shaving anything again.

I’ve posted several unedited ‘real’ photos of me before, but they were mostly when I wasn’t happy with my body.

Right now I’m more ‘I don’t give a fuck.’

And as much as I like posing and editing photos today you get just me, the difference is I’m happy with me (at the moment), so fuck it!

  1. Yay! Good for you!

I have been so brainwashed though… I’d never dream of doing anything unless I was fully groomed and prepped.
I know it sounds sad and pathetic but I just couldn’t feel sexy if I hadn’t shaved my legs.
    Yeah… I am a failure at feminism… I hate it but there you go…

    1. Feminism isn’t all hairy legs πŸ˜€
Nor do I think you’re sad and pathetic, so many of us are the same. I’m just fed up with the way we have been brainwashed, but I’ve always been a bit of a rebel πŸ˜‰
I’ve never been much for styling and grooming. Too damn lazy most of the time, but it’s never really something I was bothered about.

    1. Thanks πŸ™‚
Me either, it’s just become one of those things. Porn, media, peer pressure? Some teenage boys don’t even know that a woman is meant to have pubic hair. I read the other day that it also had something to do with the series Sex in the City (never watched it). Waxing took off πŸ˜€ in a big way after that.

      1. I remember the first time, as a teenager, I saw a picture of woman, from Europe, who had full dark armpit hair. Initially I was shocked but the more I looked, the more something warm in my belly grew. Hair is sexy.

  2. For most of my adult life, I haven’t shaved my legs but I still used to feel self-conscious about it: I was OK about wearing shorts but wearing skirts with hairy legs felt weird and uncomfortable. I used to shave my armpits routinely. Now I’m all “fuck it”: I trim or shave my armpits strictly according to my whim; legs are au naturel (the hair isn’t that noticeable anyway), so armpit or leg hair may well be visible in the photos I post.

I think we should be able to do what we want without feeling we’re wrong. I just don’t like the way some people feel pressured into looking a certain way, but it’s not easy to get away from it.
